played a gig at wild bill's one night about 6-7 years ago...parked the van out on the street about 100 yds. from the front door....4 hrs. later i come out to swing the van back around to load the gear into the truck and i was missing a windshield and 4 hubcaps....they stole the fucking windshield!!!after throwing a 5 minute fit thinking about how cold it was gonna be(middle of december)driving back to the motel.. i started laughing....what the fuck was i gonna do..?..i mean if i took off down the street and saw a cupla guys carrying a wind shield to '98 econoline..then we woulda had us some fireworks....but i said fuck this place and let the rental place deal with it....haven't been back to memphis since
Been to Memphis quite a few times and I always thought it was a pretty cool town. Beale St. is usually a pretty good scene, especially on a game night. I would recommend Blues City Cafe and Rendevouz if you're gonna get some 'cue. Both are right there in the arena/Beale St. area. You won't be dissapointed bro...
