no reason the Yankees should be huge chalk here. They have not done shit this series outside of 1 good inning. They can not get the long ball going and when they do get guys on base, they cant produce clutch hitting. CC has already been tagged by the rangers this series and now the yankees lose Texieria. I love the yankees, but its a sinking ship right now and getting +160 or better on the rangers is great. I took lee and hunter the past few days and will again be tossing a little cash on wilson, as just no way i could back the yankees in this game. Wilson or nothing

Agree completely.

I just think the "aura" of CC and this offense has many a mind thinking they're (either or both) due to break through. But, as anyone who's spent anytime laying wagers on such thoughts knows, that "break through" doesn't have to happen today by any stretch of the imagination.

I refuse to get smoked by the Yankees, so I'm stayin away, but, gun to thy head, you have to go Rangers.

GL!

With great players, especially great MLB pitchers, I know I fight the "he cannot be garbage in back to back starts" intuition all the time. I realize other's play just the opposite...that he's "trending" poorly...especially if he's been roughed up 2 in a row.

And since I do not put a lot of value in a handful of post-season starts (although Ciff Lee is a hard case, lol) and more on the entire body of work (I'm one of those who believe that nearly every game pitching in front of 50,000+ in NYC is a "big game"), I seem to always lean on a rebound from a great player.

Again though, you can be guraranteed that EITHER (bounce-back or poor outing) occur very often.

Makes the business tough.

I think there is a lot to be said for laying off the Yanks due to price, but I'm pretty sure betting that they'll lose all three at home and backing CJ Wilson on the road is a pseudo-sharp way of burning money. GL though.

Yankee players know that they have no chance of beating Lee in Texas.

If you know there is no chance for survival, you die where you are.

Texas +160 is a gift.

Be careful going against Wilson. His road stats are a lot better away than at home. Below is his Road ERA, Road WHIP and Won/Loss Road Record. What doesn't show here is that Texas is 10-5 in Wilson's 15 Road Starts. You usually won't see a pitcher with these stats at +160. Lot's of Value here.

Road Starts 2.72 1.187 5-5

Cause there is no life outside NYC. I've been to almost all the major cities in this country, no place like NYC.

I'm in disbelief over TEX at +165 - +185.

that's just incredible given the complexion of this series thus far.

Considering hedging for the first time in years, lol.

Sabathia is 4-0 with a 1.73 ERA and 0.69 WHIP in starts this year following one where he gave up 5 earned runs or more.

In his Yankee career, under the same situation, CC is 10-1 with a 1.81 ERA and a 0.78 WHIP.
