Texas backers.....remember....CJ Wilson walked close to 100 batters in 200 innings this year.

now I am not saying the Yankees are a good play here. just a caution. Wilson was good his first outing but he may just be what the doctor ordered for the Yanks.

this is a line up that will eat you alive if you give them free passes and Wilson was up there in the lead league BB's. With the pressure of pitching in the Bronx in a ALCS clincher it is very possible we could see some nerves and Wilson staying true to form and Yanks taking advantage.

interesting mets, this one is tuff i think....I am convinced the yanks will not hit the ball, if this kid putsd guys on base they may cross the plate and I have to think cc will be much sharper than game one, which i still cant believe i won. Not sure if I can lay that much with a yanks team not hitting, I am starting to look at the total..any thoughts there? I

I am more concerned that this is the 5th time the Yanks are facing him, and they started making adjustments late on him in game 1. Also, Sabathia said he had a great bullpen session on Sunday to fix the rust on friday, so i am expecting him to be sharp.

Add the fact that losers treanor and francoeur are in the lineup, and the rangers look less desirable than last night imo.

Good Luck

good post Mets. I saw this myself, and one of the main reasons im leaning toward Yankees. Yanks are veterans that take pitches. You don't want people on base in that stadium. thanks for sharing

all it takes is a few walks...maybe a blooper....than all it takes is one hit to get em started.....I don't trust them enough to play -170 but I am on the over.

I (idiotically so, seeing that, even with a win, there's not a lot of value) picked them up at -163 two hours ago really based upon three items:

1. I believe CC will rebound.
2. Don't trust Wilson to stay out of his own way two starts in a row
3. Equally believe that the Yankee bats will produce runs (5-6), especially when coupled with #2.

Mets, what are your thoughts on the Phils side? I played the over earlier today.
