Futures Bet Question

Through my local I can pick up the Yankees at 12:1.

If I were to lay $100 on this to win $1200 and then bet Rangers ML in Game 5 to win $100 ($70) and so on throughout the playoffs will on not be in good shape if the Yankees win the series or be fine even if they don't?

I think the 12-1 is for yankees to win the world series. Not to win alcs only.

Correct, my thinking is that if they win the series then I'll be able to wait in the world series game until their opponent has a deciding game and do the same thing.

I see the Rangers being plus money the rest of the way in this series. JMO

I did go ahead and lock in the bet.
