The Super Bowl, The World Series, The Kentucky Derby, The Daytona 500, The Masters, The World Cup, etc are all the climax of their individual sports as everyone knows. People are gonna watch. And throw a human interst story in there like a guy nicknamed Panda or Fear The Beard and it just memerizes people. I am looking foward to it.

and Texas is a pretty big market. considering how many Rangers fans live in Texas that have had NO REASON to cheer for the team until now, you'll see a lot of people tuning in to watch. at my gym, Rangers hats and shirts are being worn daily. before..never.
having Nolan tied to the team helps.
with SF...eh. They are a Cali team but I doubt you see much interest from the bigger Cali cities like SD, LA, etc...

I disagree, the word is getting out about this Cliff Lee guy and I think everyone wants to see him world series. And then there's Lincicum and the Black beards. Everyone likes a good under dog storyline. I think this years World series will be more watched then last years. No one was talking about baseball last year. I'll tell you this, everyone at my work was talking about Cliff Lee after that Texas yankees game.
