Like it more than the Yanks yesterday, biggest play year to date for me. Take your "Lince plus money at home?!?!?!?!?" to the paper burning factory again, I'll cash another ticket. Giants won't get past 1, Phils tonight for the win, GL.

????? I have respect for u i do,...but...u said to double up on the phillies last night after the yankee win so how did u cash out last night? Giants all day,...phillies offense just like the rays vs texas, no where to be found. They got runs last night off a bumgarner rookie for crying out loud. Best play of the night, giants +1.5 and phillies team total under 3

Did not cash out last night, went 1-1, -.1 units. By double down I simply meant "re-invest" was that improper terminology? If so I didn't mean to be misleading.
Appreciate the kind words. Super tough break on Giants +1.5. Lince had better stuff than Halladay tonight, so that much was a poor cap by me. Phils bats, imo, despite taking advantage of some luck (an overblown, but terrible, "fair ball" bunt...but an egregious play by Huff...that said if the Giants could hit they'd have scored more on Halladay while the Phils smoked some balls off Lince and Gload SHOULD have broken it open) proved better tonight.

As for Phils offense, it's tough, think about if Ruiz doesn't try to score last night. Do they break it open? A lot of these crooked number teams have offenses that look to be dead then out of nowhere will break out, much like the Yankees last game.

As for what I put on it. Just a 3 unit play. Messed around with a lot of unit scales through the years but recently I basically play everything 1 or 2 units...made a 3 unit play tonight and it paid off, not sure how right I was, but like I said originally, it's all about cashing the ticket these past two days.

Fantastic game 6's and possible 7's to handicap...lots of ways to approach it...thinking the forum will be split...should be fun.

Thank u for not taking my post the wrong way. I should of explained it different. Any thoughts on todays game? Being a yankees fan, its tough not to bet with the heart in this situation so i might just take yanks team total over. I do have a bad feeling that the rangers smoke Hughes tonight.

^^glad you cashed

^Nothing wrong with voicing differing opinions to me.

Tonight is so incredibly interesting to me. Everyone is ragging on Hughes for his post all-star numbers but Lewis also struggled in the second half. Everyone is killing Hughes for his last outing, but Lewis has walked 8 batters in his first two playoff starts. As someone who drafted Lewis in my fantasy baseball league and tracked him quite intently this season, I intuitively felt that teams facing Lewis a second time gained a significant advantage....considering his reliance on high fastballs and sliders in the dirt this makes a lot of sense. The numbers didn't really confirm that though, in fact, he had a fair amount of improved second starts vs. teams. Hughes on the other hand seemed to hit a wall at some point and it's been months since he struck out more than 6. As an extreme fly ball pitcher that simply isn't going to get it done.

Lewis is being a bit undersold by most people who seem to think he is trash. To me, people have he and CJ Wilson confused as to who is the better pitcher.

Long story short, I am fairly confident the Yankees will hit tonight. I am not very confident Phil Hughes will pitch great tonight. I won't play the over 9 in a game with all hands on deck for the Yankees. I won't lay chalk with Phil Hughes in Texas tonight. I won't back Texas and Colby Lewis tonight. Sickening as it seems, and wrong as it may end up making me look, I'd much rather sit tight, hope the Yanks win and take a shot against Lee if they win. Value should be back and I really feel they'll get to Lee for a few given another chance.
