Would you feel different if Gload's ball didn't go right to Huff? They stung a lot of balls tonight. I hear what you're saying but I really do think that the talk of their offensive struggles is a bit overblown as of now. They flat out have a better hitting lineup with roughly equal pitching and are heading home, are you saying they should not be treated as favorites? Because I would strongly disagree with that. Game 6 I think is a bit of a coin flip...I'd have a hard time backing SF in game 7 unless Vegas makes them heavy dogs though, personally.
Phils still have to be the faves here, as nuts as it may sound. Home with Oswalt, Hamels and an offense that stands miles above SF, it's SF who's the underdog to win one of two of these games.
Nothing I've seen thus far shows me the Rangers or the Yankees can beat the Phils in a 7 games series, so, there you go.
SF's pitching has been magnificent, but you can only hold this team down for so long...and then you're facing Halladay, Oswalt, and Hamels trying to get your own runs.
