with Oswalt on the mound? you are a -155 fav.

If I hadn't watched any Giants baseball this year...I wouldn't have made this post.

But it is only appropriate for Sanchez to be the one to clinch the Giants world series birth.

Giants + 150. lets do it right and cash this +335 at the same time..

GL tonight.....

Kevy, I know your with me in spirit here.

Philly fans will be throwing batteries and pointing lazers and shit in the Giants faces...still not gonna matter. we all gonna be celebrating tonight. BOL Robin....you leaning Vikings this weekend? I think Greenbay wants to see Favre on his back like hes been all season...Mathews is back...Ryan Pickett didn't play in last years matches... chad clifton...i can keep goin you know..

As a vikings fan, I generally dont bet on my teams games (and i tend to be a bit of a skeptic). Im VERY nervous about the game tmrw. Its somewhat of a must win for us. If we fall 2 games behind Green Bay with road games against New England, chicago and Washington looming, we could be in trouble. Especially with Green Bay getting healthier. There gonna b getting al harris and atari bigbi back which hurts (as well as the guys you have already mentioned), and were gonna b missing cedric griffin which also hurts especially with Chris Cook and Lito Sheppard questionable. I can tell you one thing though, we are going to run the ball... A LOT! If we can get peterson going its going to be huge because it will limit the amout of plays favre will have to make. I think we can get enough pressure on rodgers to limit the damage he does, and we will surely shut down the run game. It will be close... It can go either way, really depends on how well we can protect favre and try and give him time to make plays because if he cant, peterson will have a hard time running. Its going to be tough, i really want to think we will win, but i can see the packers throwing everything at Favre and forcing him into makinng mistakes. Something like a 27-21 Green Bay final (but like i said, im a skeptic lol). GL mob, and lets get that giants money!

"It's going to be great to get to the World Series," Sanchez said. "Never been there. We've got a lot of guys on the team that have never been there, and to be able to do that, it's going to be something special for me."

lol I fuck with that. hard. he's got confidence after the game 2 loss. he's never gave up more than 4 hits to the phillies before game 2. I hate Oswalt, I love the Giants tonight.

I think you're right on round robin... but also believe Peterson won't have a big game. they will make brett beat them, and honestly it is up to the offensive lines. I think they both win at home against eachother...Brett will have the last say

Kevy, I know your with me in spirit here.

i only chime in when i violently disagree........we both know they dont "give money" away in vegas.....giants have become the "square public" way to go (therx not a reflection of public sentiment)....IE takes a lot of balls to be laying -160 with a team down 3-2......

the fact is phils are the better team, at home, better pitching and hitting....oswalt volunteered to pitch the 9th the other night, and he was praying hed have another shot to show his worth here......u will see him be lights out tonight and the books know this......phils get 3 runs by the 4th here, and they will not lose.....

texas and sf have won as +140 or higher several times this playoff season, my reason for saying that is the books will not have to twist people arms to bet sf, they will jump on this........they adjusted texas to +100 in game 6, if the giants were +125 or less, id be tempted to take them....but t over +140, they just are not the side in this game unless u are a sentimental fan, or someone looking for value......

im all for value, and there is all the value on sf not philly, but this is not a game the Giants will not win

your smoking crack...

i had 2 messages

1- all the value is on the team at +155
2- the philles are the better hitting team, at home with superior pitching matchup

is it smopking to crack to think the team vegas favored at -165 is more than likely to win the game?

sure the giants can win....i just dont think u can say so assuredly that a team at +155 is a lock to win......if that were the case, i dont know what your net worth is, but id expect it would increase at the rate of +155 after tonite...seriously....if im smoking crack to say a heavy favorite is going to win, and us ee it so clearly, why wouldnt u refinance your hosue, load up your credit cards, etc....and bet it all on sf?

or do u like to just be ridiculous when u argue for or against your point?

let me also definie what i consider value

its the same thing as walking a left handed masher with a righty on the mound with first base open, to face a righty behind him who is not as good....

IE girardi walks hamilton and guerrero beats him anyway on the next batter....statistically walking hamilton was 100% the right play.....8 times out of ten he probably makes the right choice......2 out of 10 guerrerro beats him, 3 times at the most

but its called following the book so he did it...

how does this apply to value?

if u see a game u think is 50/50 and one side is +155.....then of course, if u make that play 10 out of ten times, and it truly was a 50/50 outcome, u will undoubtredly come out ahead......+ units....so in this situation u take sf and the next 9 times us ee similar spots over a long enough lifetime, u will come out ahead...

my belief is that your evaluation and thought process is extremely skewed if u feel this is a 50/50 outcome, or that the books have the line that messed up.....

theres value, just not quite as much as u think as u feel im smoking crack to think -165 team is going to win......u should check this historical numbers to see how often -165 faves lose, and then check those with -165 home faves in the playoffs.....

anyone reading this knows, im not saying the giants CAN NOT, win this game.

love your insight as always zeke, im calling nada a lock though. I just see all this philly love like the yankee love. and I think everybodys loading up saying.. if the yankees can't do it, the phillies will. SF has beat Oswalt 3 times this year, Sanchez is their most underratted pitcher imo, I think he will be the one to put them through... and i said i don't think it matters where this game is played at. I'd take San Fran at even money this game. I think they're the better all around team. if I didn't think that, I wouldn't have taken them for the series...thanks..bol zeke

Philly is way more a public team than SF, just saying. SF may lose this game but its not the Square play thats for sure.

i dont think "clapping fans" element wins it for philly...(ala mr coldweather joke)....philly is a bunch of mashers doubles and hR's....the actual dimensions of their home park plays more to their style than sf's park......that being said, sf seemed to have no prob homering in philly......so the dimensions are the same for both teams, i just think that oswalt avoids it a lil better than sanchez.........that home field advantage and the fact they slept in their own beds is the home field id refer to, and the general advantage u have when u get to hit last

i also agree philly is a far more public team than sf......i think recent (this weeks events) events has caused sf to be the more valued team to the public...........but generally speaking, philly definitely more of a public following....

i think sf has definitely become more of a sexy pic to the public and especially with the great price....IE u dont have to twist anyones arm to bet a team thats been playing better (until game 6, huffs error was not typical of what the giants been doing, they have been more fundamentally sound, especially with manuel passing on the bunt opportunity in the 8th of the 5-5 game with zero outs)
