Do you guys realize that the, besides Stanford, the 6 teams that Oregon has beat (Portland State, New Mexico, Washington State, Arizona, UCLA, and Tennessee) have a total of just 6 freaking wins against D1 teams this year!
6 wins, 32 losses (15.8%) against D1 competition!
The overall record of teams not named Stanford is 11-32 (25.6%) when you count in the beatings over D2 teams.
How can the same people who have said Boise has a weak schedule think Oregon deserves to be ranked ahead of them right now?
Just wondering.
For comparison, Boise's wins (not including Virginia Tech to be fair) have a record of 12-25 (32.4%) with just 2 wins against D2 squads (both against Southern Utah, coincidentally). 10-25 (28.7%).
Call the Boise State schedule weak if you must, but Oregon has played bigger jokes so far with a barely 15% winning rate against D1 squads. If you want to say the Broncos have had a weak schedule, then you have to say that Oregon has had one as well (even weaker). That's all I'm saying.
