MistaFlava's 2010 MLB Playoffs Record: 3-7 (-68.20 Units)

MistaFlava's 2010 MLB Regular Season Record: 102-92 (+219.25 Units)

This was one of my most productive Regular Seasons in about five years and even though I didn't hit my wagers at a high percentage mark, I did hit quite a few big plays and made a lot of money along the way. I am up +219.25 Units on the season using the 1 unit = $100 scale meaning altogether I brought in a cool 20k this past regular season and I obviously look to keep that going.

2010 PLAYOFFS RECAP

Divisional: 3-7 (-68.20 Units)
Championship: ---NO PLAYS---
World Series: 0-0 (+0.00 Units)

Post as you wish in my threads. I love discussions when I have the time, I don't mind bashing and I love the trash talk so let's get this done and finish the season on a strong note.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

World Series - Game 1

Texas Rangers ML -122 (25 Units) ***PLAY OF THE SERIES***

There is no chance in hell I am missing out on Cliff Lee at any kind of price below -150 because he is cash money in the playoffs. If you go back and look at what he did in the 2009 playoffs for the Phillies, he went 4-0 and the Phillies were 5-0 in his five starts. Well he is at it again in 2010 as Lee has now made 3 starts this post-season and is 3-0 while allowing only 2 ER's in 24.0 innings pitched while striking out 10+ batters in each of his three starts for 34 total strikeouts in the playoffs right now. I don't see anyone hesitating to back Lee over Tim Lincecum who came into Game 6 for the Giants against the Phillies a few nights ago and looked like a deer in the headlights giving up two hits in a shaky eight inning appearance before handing duties over to Brian Wilson to close the deal. Having said that, both pitchers have been sensational in the post-season and that reflects in both their WHIP (Lee is at 0.58 in his last three starts while Lincecum is at 0.74 in his last three starts and ERA (Lee is at 0.75 in his last three starts while Lincecum is at 1.96 in his last three starts) stats. These two teams met in the 2009 regular season and the Giants swept the Rangers at home but I wouldn't put too much into a series more than a year ago. A lot can change. What I do know however is that Texas is now 10-1 in their last 11 inter-league road games, they are 8-0 in their last eight inter-league road games versus a right handed starting pitcher, they are 13-3 in their last 16 inter-league games overall and they are now 4-0 in Cliff Lee's last four starts. San Francisco on the other hand is only 1-5 in their last six inter-league games as an underdog and they are 2-5 in Tim Lincecum's last seven starts coming off a team loss the previous game. If you go back years and years and years Texas is 0-9 in their last nine games played in San Francisco but over the course of the last couple of seasons, the Rangers have been one of the best inter-league play road teams and that is finally going to payoff in this game tonight. Cliff Lee is the best pitcher in baseball hands down, he has veteran experience that he has managed to show off in the World Series in 2009 and that he is once again showing off in the 2010 post-season. No doubt this guy is the key to reaching and possibly winning the World Series and I will keep backing him seeing how his team is now 8-0 when he pitches in the playoffs.

Trend of the Game: Texas is 10-1 in their last 11 inter-league road games.

Texas 5, San Francisco 0
