Max, the best way is to go to advanced search, click on the "search titles only" next to the keyword your looking for; this will only bring up the words or item that your looking for.

For me searching for one of the words in the thread title usually works. If not, I go the back asswards way and go to a posters profile who I know has posted in that thread. Then search their posts.

search is beyond broke and also even if it sort of works seems to only search a tiny protion of this forum database..maybe 10%...u search a popular title term and your back to a handful of threads only most from 2007 threads..this once great tool is worthless..

And not sure why it works for me.

I use Advanced Search , All Types and throw in some Keywords.
I've always found what I was looking for.

Exactly!!! I go to the advanced and select all types, but in a popular term and get stuff that dates back a few years...and I know that I saw a thread with the search term...but it never finds it...

I have noticed that I have 2 sets of subscribed threads page....or whatever

Its the strangest thing...I log into my page and go to the Subscriptions page and see some but not all subscriptions....then later in the day the lost subscriptions reappear when I visit that page again.

They are still working a Full 100% Search Function.
The last update was a week ago or so, and when they are finished.... it will work the right way.

His secret is keeping a gigantic folder of Bookmarked titles which deal with "predictions" in the Topic line
