Can you think of any player in the history of college football that did what Kellen Moore did last night?

Sammy Baugh is the only name I can think of that might have a chance at that stat line. No clue if he ever did it though...

I have 18/1 on Newton and +8.50 on James so try to tell your boy to keep his game under wraps. Thinking of putting something down on Moore. Saw +450 on him at 5 Dimes this morning

Newton easily wins it if Auburn stays undefeated. Moore probably wins it if Auburn loses. I think its a two-horse race right now

Maybe in the leather helmet days, but it was a totally different game then. In the modern era, I would say NO.

James is ahead of Moore at this point according to the odds I have seen and what I have heard

Steve spurrier had a pretty good game vs auburn in 1966. He had 259 yards with a td, he also had a rushing td, two field goals, including a 40 yard game winner.

Oregon's schedule is pretty brutal the next few weeks. I guess those games will make or break James. One dud in a loss and he is done. Boise isn't going to lose a game.

Moore winning the Heisman would set the award back 40 years............let's all hope this doesn't happen.

Doubt it will........

As much as I like Boise St, I have to agree..I highly doubt he wins due to the strength of schedule

Newton would have to go down with an injury and/or Auburn would have to lose at least 2 games for Moore to surpass him at this time..........and that's just one guy.

Set the award back? Mark Ingram won it last year and he wasn't even the best running back in college football. I don't think you can really set the award back much more at this point. It's supposed to be awarded to "the most outstanding player in college football" but is given to the best player on the best team most years. There's no setting back an award that has been set back to it's fullest already.

Newton's the most outstanding player in college football. Losing the last week of the season might sour voters though.

As long as Newton doesn't throw 3 picks in that Alabama game or just get's completely shut down the Heisman is his. I'm all for giving Boise a shot in the NC game but a QB from the WAC winning the Heisman would be a joke.
