eliminate performance enhancing 100% from all sports. You get what you're born with and may the best man win.

Make athletes employees of a company and treat them as such. Salary should be standard for yr 1, with a systematic raise. They should still get paid well, but not as much as today......yes, I think it would be good for the game if money wasn't as much of an issue and winning was all that mattered. (I don't know how this might motivate a team that sucks)

That may help cut out performance enhancers as well.

I'm actually for controlled performance drugs but they would have to be used to maintain whatever hormone levels the athlete had at his prime.

Changing one thing, I would make myself the greatest athlete in history, rather than not-very-good

If you're gonna look at it from a gambling perspective than there should not be walk-off homers in baseball. The game must end after 3 outs only so the team has a better chance of covering.

The unpredictability of it.

If you're going to suck, suck.
If you're going to be good, then show it.

College athletes should be paid if there sport brings in a certain amount of revenue. I'm not talking big money, but enough that a kid could go out and enjoy life without the temptations of agents. This would also cut down on some of these average athletes jumping to the pro level when the odds of them making it may not be as high. An extra year or two of college could improve their skills as well as education.

If that happened, how much would upper management be making per year

i dont give a shit... whats wrong with making a few hundred grand a year ?

i wish the world of sports fans would give a collective " fuck you " to ticket prices and what players make. would be awesome if the arena's were empty for several games .. i would only feel sorry for the vendors and ticket booth people

There is nothing wrong with earning $200k ... just as there is nothing wrong with earning $20 million

Being able to enjoy the games without having to pay one cent or engaging in any haggling, negotiating or consumer action is one thing I absolutely would not change about sports. Some people would say the free market sports currently have makes that possible

Stagger the starting times of the NFL games.

Would make the direct tv nfl package worth buying.

I can not watch nine games at once.

But that is just me.

Does practice and training change the ability you were born with?

I was suggesting eliminating performance enhancing drugs, etc. You were being sarcastic right? If not and u were serious... yes, practicing is ok with me to enhance performance

if we limit money that athletes can make, we can limit it all around.....cap the amount TV stations pay to owners....cap the amount advertisers pay for TV ads.....cap the amount advertisers charge the consumers for products

you can also replace the word cap with "raise the tax on" for the first two
