I don't know if it's just me or what, but I've been to Lost Wages, err Las Vegas eight times this year for work. It seems that I'm not getting anywhere near the amount of play on the slots that I used to. Yeah, it's a losing situation and it's not a +EV situation by any stretch, but 4 or 5 years ago, hell, even 2 or 3 years ago, that I used to get a decent amount of play for the money I lost. Now it seems that I can't hit a damn thing, and everybody around me is the same way. I haven't seen a hand pay in all 8 visits this year. I'm talking strip (Mandalay, Luxor, Caesars, Mirage, Flamingo & Venetian), glitter gulch (4 Queens, Golden Nugget) and off strip (JW Marriott, Red Rock).

My black-jack and craps play has been normal, win some, lose some, but the slot play has been just terrible.

Again, I know I'm giving them my money, but I used to get 8 - 10 hours of play for the cash I drop, now I'm barely getting an hours worth of play.

Just plain old disappointing. Not going back to February for the super bowl and a conference that starts the day after, but what's everybody else's feelings?
