I think she loses to either Blame, Looking at lucky or quality road. Not on her home track this year or the synthetic. I will be betting against her she will be overbet.

Last year she faced superb horses, albeit which were not proven on the surface. This year she faces the same caliber which are proven all day; think she loses and even +325 is not enough value.

if she gets a trip she will be there at the end....everyone always has an excuse for Zenyatta, this surface that surface...this field, that field yada yada yada....she won for FUN last year vs' some real good horses....i agree this field is tougher this year but this is no ordinary horse we are talking about....if she's training well and mikey smith gives her a good trip she will be there....

im still amazed at her performace last year in this race one minute trevor denman is saying how she has to come from far back, yet 10seconds later she wins by daylight...

Keep in mind she will be running on dirt and not the synthetic surface that she thrives on and won the Classic on her home surface last year. Also, suppose it is a muddy or sloppy track next Saturday. Don't get me wrong as I have been a believer in her for every race she has run and believe she was robbed not being Horse Of The Year last year. That being said, too many unknown IMHO to bet her on a future. I also believe she will not be bet down as much as has been mentioned here because she will be facing her toughest field yet and the unknowns will keep the bettors away from her to a degree. Depending on the weather, I think she goes off at least 5/2 or better come Saturday.

This is so wrong!!!!!

She doesn't thrive on synthetic surfaces what makes you think that? Her two largest margins of victories were on dirt, thats a weird comment..

Of course this race won't be as easy considering she has to ship cross country and run a race on a track she is not familar with thats obvious.. What isn't obvious is the fact she has been winning on surfaces she doesn't love, SHE DOES NOT LOVE SYNTHETIC SURFACES ask anyone who works closely with her, ask bob baffert.. she wins not because of the plastic, she wins despite it. The training track in the back of HP her home track has dirt and she thrives on dirt..

The race tracks in So. Cal all have short stretchs, that does not help a deep closer who comes from dead last.. The CD stretch is extremely long and that will only benefit the queen. Also this race is filled with horses who are unproven @ 10 furlongs a mile and a quarter and the queen can run all day and night the longer the better...

Do I think Z is a great bet, no.. So many things can go wrong in a horse race, But I think wait, I know Zenyatta is the best horse in this race, she has never been fully extended.. She might be next Saturday she might finally need to use her full strength that we've never seen before. She has the heart of a champion and has overcame all the obstacles that have came her way and I think she can do it again.. Blame might be off form a bit, QR doesn't relish 10 furlongs and his best races have came at Gulfstream, looking @ lucky is a 3yr old.

well said gyno, the long stretch of churchill is a HUGE advantage for her....she could be 10 wide coming down the stretch and just blow by everyone it would be something to see the leaders all full out along the rail and here comes the QUEEN in the middle of the track blowing by them all!!
