Boy is Karma a weird thing. Most of the time when your greezy karma comes back to bite you big time.

But when you do something good it seems like positive karma is no where to been seen whats with that?

I started college this semester, and have been putting forth 110% to get my shit done. Got my mid-term

grades back last week, managed to pull 5 A's. Ever since then, I've been on the biggest gambling losing

streak, WTF?? Not that I was expecting positive karma, but a hint of it would have been nice.....

dont buy in the whole "karma" thing..

I never really liked to buy into it, but I saw a lot Bad Karma come to quite a few people. And that pretty much made me a true believer, but I gotta say I never really see it go the other way.

Things like this have happened to me...doing good on a job interview basically assures me of a losing weekend, kinda puts things in perspective though.

A friend and myself were on a roadtrip to a casino to play in a poker tournament. This was a 1600.00 buy in. This tournament was way above his head. He has never played in a tournament with this type of structure. He knew that he didnt have a chance in hell.

On the 2+ hour drive he lost over 5K to me "highcarding" on the dash. He got so mad at one point that he put both hands out of the sunroof a flipped the finger to the sky while saying "fuck you god."

He went on a massive run in the tournament. Took second place. +118K. Made me doubt the whole Karma thing.

Your grades improved because you were spending less time looking at lines and that's when you started losing.

I believe in karma but I am no fool and think something positive is going to happen to me just by sitting on my ass. You have to go out and grab your good karma. Here is an example...

Say you are at the drive thru window and paying for your food and you notice you were given $5 too much in change. Most people will go ahead and return the $5 because they want to avoid bad karma. However I on the other hand think that extra $5 you were given is your good karma. How many times were you short changed at a a drive thru? You will never know because if you didn't notice getting short changed right away you will never notice. Now as for your concern over the employee who gave you too much change. You think they could get fired for having a short drawer at the end of the night? Nobody gets fired for having a short drawer under $40 just once. If it happens often then maybe they deserve to be fired. Besides what do you think happens to the extra money when the drawer comes in having too much money it? The company keeps that money and deposits it into their bank.

So for me I feel no guilt if I keep too much change on somebody's fuck up or if I find a wallet on the street with money in it. As long as I didn't do anything violently or illegal to obtain the money I know I am not going to experience a string of bad luck as a result.

I've always interpreted karma to be related as to how you treat others. Giving, sharing = good karma. Fcking innocent bystanders in life... without KY jelly = bad karma. studying is not good karma, that's just doing right by yourself. Gotta go and help some needy people out.

To complicate things, I believe in mojo too. So if you go out purposefully trying to accumulate good karma with some sort of self serving motivation like winning a bet ... well, that's awfully nice of you ... but it's bad mojo that will F with your bets.

Pretty much the ONLY solution to all this is to hope that your mama brought you up right and that you unconsciously and innately do the right thing for your neighbor thereby accumulating good karma in your life and keeping the Gods of sports wagering away from your betting mojo. Mojo can be positively affected by such things as finding the right chair to sit in while watching your game or wearing a particular garment. The God of sports Wagering don't take kindly to discussing mojo though. So if you think you found some mojo, better keep it to yourself and be humble. Don't brag to friends about your find... that's a quick way to lose a game for your team.

Karma isn't only for this lifetime it supposedly works through your many lives. So don't necessarily expect good things back in this life.

Remember this next time you hear/read about some douche winning the lottery twice...must have been doing some great stuff in his past lives!

I've got Karma to sell if anyone is interested. We have basic Karma, Karma plus, and the top shelf Karma Gold. Now the Karma and Karma Plus are good buys but the Karma Gold puts the others to shame.
Hurry while supplies last.

Kind of like bookmaking. No guarantees short term, but in the long term you should wind up plus.

Wow, so if some minimum wage clerk makes a mistake and gives you too much change back you keep it?

No class dude.

Please like you never kept the extra cheeseburger you were given by mistake. Or you said fuck it when you got home and noticed they forgot the fries. Sometimes they fuck you and sometimes you fuck them. It all works out in the end.
