Why do they have to start at 1:00 est?

Why not start them three hours earlier than all the other games and give us something to watch.

Guess it would take away from all the pregames that bore the shit out of us.

Yesterday was a smorgasbord of football on multiple channels.

Today is a two course meal............ early game and late game

im sure what bothers the people in England about these games is they keep getting sucky matchups....2 lousy teams this year, last year, they got stuck with my Bucs who were one of the worst teams in the league...they did get to see the Patriots, but still, im sure they would like to see Pitt vs New Orleans, or Green Bay vs Jets or even Colts vs Houston this week....

I doubt the NFL would want to compete with the EPL for the English viewing audience.

Skrtelfan makes the most important point. Premiership games would kill the NFL head to head.

How about scheduling two teams both coming off a their bye weeks to play a Thursday night game in London. Say 9 pm local time so an afternoon game here. Would enough people watch it here to satisfy the NFL. Might have to ne on the NFL channell as the networks wouldn´t interrupt their soap operas.
