He's going to get pulled early, why? Because he gave up two hits in two innings?
That wasn't exactly a scorcher Hamilton made that catch on, it was a dying quail.

He sucks? Really
You don't watch much baseball do you?
Dude went 13-4 this season, with a below league average ERA of 3.73.
Dude had a solid 1.2 ratio.......... forget it, why do I bother.

Yeah you're right, he's great. He was at 50 pitches through 2 innings, and put runners on base in every inning. Oh yeah, is he still in the game?

Rangers strike me as a flash-in-the-pan team.
Next year without Lee and these overachieving players return to reality, it will be back to 500 and their usual mediocre selves.

i disagree.....rangers have A LOT of young talent, and i believe they will be aggressive in the offseason in patching up the holes.....nolan ryan does strike me as a bit of a jerry jones -- he's always going to be lurking.....

i think they have a fair shot at cliff lee, i like where someone pointed out the discrepency between new york's state income tax vs texas (which has 0).....this will ensure that if it's about money for lee, he will have to be offered a significant amount more than the rangers throw at him.....colby lewis and c.j. wilson i think will be solid going forward, main concern for me is the bullpen....oliver and o' day can go IMO, may be able to get something decent for franceour and cantu (who ain't done SHIT since coming over), vladddy can go, he had a nice season for us but i won't miss his garbage swings, moreland is a future hall of famer, either we keep him or we can package him into a nice deal.....

Perhaps I was a bit harsh in calling them mediocre, but as a baseball fan since the early 50's, at the very least they don't strike me as anything close to a dynasty team and there are plenty of teams out there whose young talent is at least as good as the Rangers.
That said and in all fairness, SF while having a nice year and being quite impressive in the playoffs, doesn't strike me as a dynasty team either-more like the Rockies of 2007 who played phenomenal down the stretch just to get into the playoffs and then in the plaoffs themselves until they met their match in my beloved Red Sox in the WS and got swept.

i wouldn't argue that the rangers are building a dynasty, but i believe they will be competitive going forward. should be an interesting race between them and the angels next season, and i think the A's might be relevant too!!!! that's about all i ask of my rangers, just keep it interesting until football starts, anything beyond that is a bonus!!!!

That I agree with, and I have the same philosophy with the Red Sox-that is be in the chase for at least the Wildcard until September.
ps It must feel pretty bad to be a Dallas Cowboys fan now with 6 losses and virtually no chance of making the playoffs-I mean that in all sincerity and not to be sarcastic to anyone.

Ok-I apologize.
Actually believe it or not, when I first made the comment, I wasn't even thinking about the fact that both teams were in Texas.
The point I was trying to make that unlike baseball where there are 162 games, in the NFL when a team gets off to a terrible start such as is the case with Dallas, there is very little chance to come back with only 16 games comprising the entire regulat season
