I would say it would have to drop some..... I mean let's face it, if a Pitcher loses 2 World series games against a Below Avg. Hitting Team..... His value on the Free Market has to drop a little.

I don't think his market value will drop at all. The Rangers want him, the Yankees want him. Let the bidding begin.

No free agent's value is based on two games

He has started over 100 games and pitched over 700 innings in the past three years. If anything, this game will represent 1/100 of what any team believes he is capable of

The "Freak" done Cliff in. Played the Freak both games, plus odds.
Hope the Yankees get Cliff. CC, Andy, Phil, and Cliff. Has a nice ring too it!

His market value does not drop...he is a top 3 piher in the game..the thing that I don't get is that stretch he had where he was awful for like 6 to 7games mid season

He seems a little over rated and has been on 4 teams in the last 2 years, that would also scare me a bit.

I can't see Lee ending up in New York. If he stays in Texas he will only be about 3 hours from home, he'll have to deal with a lot less b.s. than he'll face in NY, and he'll be on a very good team with another shot at getting to the series. Of course if what he really cares about is the money, he'll be in pinstripes.

No way his value goes down - best pitcher in free agency - let the bidding begin. Not sure who really wants him yet but don't be surprised if there's more than 1 team looking for his services.
