......didn't go against each other on either Sunday Nite of MNF?

I remember that when it came to WS time, we would lose either a SNF or MNF game.
Now it seems like they schedule the games opposing each other no matter what.

Did anyone even know there was a WS game on last night?@)

apparently not. Last night's game had the 2nd lowest viewer ratings ever , and with MNF and Dancing With the Stars , tonight's should be the lowest ever.

And thats ashame b/c i much preferred this match up to yanks vs phillies. ... oh well !

I remember the NFL moving the Sunday night game to Thursday. Now they just come up with extra games for Thursday and Sunday and sell another TV package

World Series had a 10.4 rating, better than I would have thought based on the early rounds of the playoffs. Hell, nearly equaling a prime time NFL game is good for any sport

MLB got 15.5m, which is apparently the same as 2008 Game 4 and just a couple million shy of the NFL

Do they still call MLB Americas #1 sport? That ship sailed around 1960.
