I can't argue with security but it would be so awesome if I could just log in and vote right now instead of going somewhere....
what if we were all mailed a PIN to our registered address (obv the mailing does NOT include SSN)....then we just enter SSN and PIN to submit vote on a government website? people don't often hack governmental websites successfully do they? (I thought this was only in the movies)
I figure it would take all of about 10 days from the time online voting is announced until some group of intrigued programmers hopped up on Red Bull and Doritos learn how to hack the thing. Then we end up with Rick Astley elected president.
