ISO game situation. Sunday always feels like a chase situation

MNF has become a complete disaster since ESPN took over. its unwatchable at times. between Gruden saying "that guy" every 2 seconds and a commercial after every play its brutal.

Sunday night football by far, they make espn look like amateurs.

What do you get when you have a guy who loves the sound of his voice and comes off as a pompous ass (i love it when he says the penalty before it's announced and he gets it wrong, always the awkward silence afterwards), a nerd who sits in the dark room for 6 days watching tapes of NFL teams that he has no impact on, and an ex-coach who is advertising every Monday to the broadcasted teams that he is available and willing to work.

That's right, the MNF crew that could go down as the worst in the production's history.

Sunday Night for me. I dont think I can take another week of Gruden talking about how much he loves Maurice Jones-Drew's thighs for 3 hours. Please some NFL teams hire Chucky so I dont have to see him in the booth anymore. Except, they will probably replace him with Matt Millen ;+)-

Al and Chris are a good listen, Al rarely makes a mistake, the Sunday night booth are the baboons dressed in a suit and tie.

In terms of the broadcast, of course SNF is better.

But as for the actual game, MNF in a landslide for me. I'm usually pretty burned out by the time SNF rolls around. The hour long gap after the late games doesn't help. Unless it's a really good match-up I'd rather pass out or find something else to do.

MNF on the other hand...I get pumped no matter the match-up. There's just something about the anticipation...Something to look forward to after starting the work week, happy hour at the bar, last chance to watch the pros for a week, etc.

I didn't vote because the option I would choose wasn't available.

For me it depends on the teams playing not the announcers. If the game is uninteresting to me whether it be Sunday or Monday, I don't even watch.

Monday Night is such a tradition... an old school thing... Parents were very strict about bedtime growing up and the games started at 9 back then which was my bedtime... If my dad was in a good mood I got to stay up till 9:30..... can remember sitting in the hallway trying to listen to the game from the top of the stairway... would fall alseep there sometimes and my oldman would find me after the game was over.... could always tell who he bet by the way he sent me back to bed... got a crack in the ass if he was a loser and a "dont let me catch you again" if he covered the spread..... Ahhhhh the memories... Thus regardless of announcers etc. MNF gets my vote... and Gruden is a absolute gift compared to some the MNF jokes.... Derdorff was the pits, Dennis Miller was a confusing nightmare.... Gruden is just too mucha coach to keep quiet, your gonna get his opinion if you like it or not.....
