shdw01 style --> lower betting amounts....when your losses equal your wins then you will be in teh +'s using that advice
correct style --> keep betting the same....either same amount (flat betting), or raising by normal % (% of bankroll betting).......if you end up with a winning record then your bankroll will reflect much greater returns

First of all I bet using a modified kelly system and on horses. I always find that when I'm running hot my analysis is spot on and sixth sense is working well. Everyone who bets horses will know there is a sixth sense involved and when that is working well in conjunction with your analysis/ratings whatever then you need to be pressing your bets a little more which is what I do. You pretty much know when that small period is over so you can return to normal staking.
Typically if I analyse a race a make a horse a +450 shot and can get say 6/1[fixed odds] i might if on a hot streak make the horse +425 on my analysis and stake according based on Kelly.

99% of the time when i am on a hot streak, i lose a game and start to panic and withdraw everything.
But, and this has happened to me every time, I go on a huge losing streak once the withdrawal has been processed. I am going through one right now, 1-11. My approach is the same like it was during the hot streak, but the ball or puck just isn't bouncing my way for whatever reason.
I really wish someone could psychologically find out what the hell is going on after that withdrawal.
