Any team that plays in the SEC and only has one loss deserves an automatic bid the BCS game

they should slip in the polls, not for playing chatt but for allowing them to score 20+ points

Why should they lose votes? They won by 38 over a team thats above .500. How many do they need to win by?

This ridiculous bias is why the system is severely flawed. The SEC is clearly down this year yet because they are from the SEC, they get the benefit of the doubt. Boise & TCU would be favored over anyone in that conference at this moment.

Agreed.

But keep in mind, the 12th game has caused this. 80+ D1 teams are playing 1AA teams this year. That's just how it is....

Maybe those teams should get a real schedule like Boise State's. :) Well, at least we don't play D2...

D2 is 1 level below 1AA. Do you understand college football? A "D2" school would technically be....Boise's schedule!! Seriously, most BCS D1 schools try to schedule teams like Troy, East Carolina, UCF, FAU, FIU, Ohio, Miami (OH), Southern Miss, New Mexico/ST, etc...but there are only so many of those to go around. This year, Alabama played at Duke...and they have a home game against 1st year program: Georgia State, and they will have a full house. UF played Miami (OH) and will play Appalachian State, and there will be 90,000+ watching. Today UGA played Idaho State, paid them $530,000 for the privilege.

Do some reading up on college football schedules. There is a website called, "google"....you could probably spend a few hours educating yourself on how this process works. SEC schools don't apologize for their schedules.

Makes no difference since they play 5-7 other games where the spread is less than 7.

And no, Boise and TCU would not be favored over Auburn, AL, LSU, Arkansas.

I think the games would be close, but they would not be favored

They would be favored over LSU and Arkansas, and should be favored over AL but because of Alabamas name recognition, the game would be close to a pk. Boise would beatr Arkansas bad, would probably beat LSU because of the difference in coaching abilities and AL, Auburn would be close throughout

Yeah neither TCU/Boise St. would be favored over Auburn/LSU. Which means you'd be making a lot of money on TCU/Boise St. because LSU is the most overrated team in the country.

Agreed 100% on LSU. The defense is nice but the offense is getting lots of lucky breaks IMO.
