Anyone getting call of duty black ops?

I think I will but the video that I have seen of this game looks like modern warfare 2. I just don't want to spend 60 on a game that's pretty much the same. I know the single player mode will be different but I mostly play online.

It's all a social thing. They are all the same game, people for some reason just want the "new" one. I just don't understand it. I'm not much of a gamer anymore, but will say Call of Duty was one of the best games on PS3. Personally if I were to start gaming again i'd prefer to kick back and play some Tysons Punchout or Mario.

The Black Ops commercial (with Kobe and Jimmy Kimmel) is a fantastic commercial. Definitely makes me want to pick it up.

UPS just dropped off my game earlier this afternoon. I quickly threw the game in and date the unnecessary updates and started my campaign. I love this shit. Props to Ice Cube for lending his voice to the game. YAY YAY!!!!!

Haven't gone online yet. I have just recently got back into playing my PS3 again and I am kind of new to FPS games. Gonna get some practice in and then jump online in a few days.

I know there is a whole new way of purchasing perks and upgrading. I'd read a review and look up on it. I know it's completely different.

Yeah thats what i've heard. I know its also a different developer than MW2. I haven't gotten bored with MW2 online yet so maybe I'll wait until I do.

This game has nothing on MW2. I don't like it.

Single player campaign MW2 : You kill an enemy he is down for good. Black Ops: they constantly respawn. LAME!

Multi player MW2 : The best you will ever play for a first person shooter. Black Ops: Feels very uninspired and lacks the fluidness and excitement of MW2

Just my take on it. Keep in mind this was developed by tyreyarch and not Infinity Ward (IW was the MW2 developer)
