do any books still reward players for pointing out bad lines/mistakes?

twice in the last week or so I have informed a book that they have hung a mistake line on rather a prop or an alternative line. Both times after informing the book of their error and them correcting the line while still in the chat with them, I have been blown off. One of the books was like our manager has decided not to offer you anything for pointing this out. Thanks for your time though. The other book acted like it fixed the problem on its own, and didnt even offer a thank you.

I mean i imagine you have to be doing them a pretty big favor by pointing it out, as they are rather going to have to go back and cancel a shit ton of wagers and listen to people complain or even worse for the book, they never catch it and get burned.

am I in the wrong to think they should throw you a small bone or atleast be somewhat appreciative of the favor you have done for them.

I agree. It's much better for the book to correct this stuff ASAP, to avoid disputes. $15 or so to the finder of the error is fine.

5Dimes won't do it, clerks/ linesmen probably afraid of telling GOD they made a misteak. I think Greek would reward you ?

It's a real no brainer to toss a token freeplay or something to fix this stuff, IMO ! I would only tell 5D if I wanted a bet on it....Fvck reporting it if I don't get a token for my effort.

Don't bet bad lines, though....esp. at 5D.

here are the two instances this past week

betjam- rondo over under 27.5 pts/rebs. The under was starting to get hit on this. The mistake made was it was suppose to be 27.5 pts/assists. I pointed out the mistake after looking over all the nba props for that night, now i could have pounded the under since, he only avgs about 17.5 pts/rebs a game, as opposed to 27 pts/assists. But I didnt want to bet a bad line and only have it end up possibly being canceled down the line. Live help quickly changed the line after i told them, and then the customer rep told me, our manager has decided to not offer you any type of compensation for your help. Thank you though

bookmaker- Was looking to see what adjusted lines they might offer on the nba or possibly college bball, as I have been doing very well with those of late. I noticed they had golden state +6.5 +185 (game line is toronto -1). So they had their juices flipped, suppose to be gs +6.5 -235, toronto -6.5 +185. I waited a little bit to see if they would correct the problem and nothing happened. I go into a live help and inform the clerk of the mistake. He asks me to hold for a minute and during this minute I refresh the line a few times to see if it changes, it changes around the fourth refresh and the clerk comes back and tells me I must have been looking at an old line. I told him the line only changed a few seconds ago after he told me to hold while he was informing the dept of the bad line. I mean if you don't want to offer any type of reward.... whatever, but don't act like i'm an idiot and that the line just happens to correct itself after i tell you of the error and you try to pass it off like i'm looking at a line from 20 mins ago.

I do not think they do it as much as in the past but they do

A $20 reward to fix this stuff should be cheap to a book.

maybe its one of their cuts in the down economy and less people playing
