So guys like Belichick take shit for running up scores, but now a poor little amateur ballplayer can't even get paid for being a good sport and keep the winning margin "modest"? :toast:

they did some study a few years back in SI and found favorites covering the spread of higher then 12 to be only 47% or so over x amount of time which is statistically deviant (so they say). of course they mention nothing about the price being jacked up on "name" schools against also rans which could very easily factor into the extra 3%. espn is like tmz jr at this point.

Kind of funny. I remember when taking it easy as 40-point favorites was considered good sportsmanship.
