Just got a parking ticket need help???

To my surprise when I came back to my car I saw a citation on my car for "misuse of handicap permit" because my sign expired on November 5th. I never noticed that the DMV punched these permits to expire on a certain date. My fault for not noticing but regardless I am legally allowed to park in the handicap spots. What are my chances of getting this ticket dismissed with proof of an up to date parking permit?

It's a fuckin $300 ticket. Is the state really out there trying to shakedown money like that from its handicap citizens?

I work from home 4 out of 5 days out of the week so I do very little driving and don't really need to use my handicap permit on a daily basis. Aside from today the last time I set foot in my car was last Tuesday and it was just to go to the doctors and grocery store and I didn't need to park handicap at either place. So technically the last time I drove my car my permit was still valid.

What is your definition of abusing my parking permit? Parking in a handicap spot at all? Abusing my parking permit would be lending it too some NJ gahbage punk so he can park in front of the self tanning salon. GTL right bitch?

Your logic of thinking is so effin retarded. Just cause I can walk doesn't mean my back doesn't hurt just by doing simple shit like sitting or lying down. But hey I can walk right? So I guess I should have just parked 5 stories up and just disregard my privilege to park a little closer to my destination. I guess only people who are on welfare and on strict income should take advantage of sales and coupons because after all if you can afford it you might as well pay full price.
