just read this on espn while coming home... first guy to pull a 30/30 in 28 years... unreal, and he did the bulk of it from the 3rd quarter onward

I would say 25+ boards other night was a fluke but when you come back with 31 couple games later I think you have earned a little respect. Congrats Kevin Love you are no longer just a good outlet passer

thats incorrect. rebounding is an art. you have to have great awareness and anticipation of where the ball is going to go, and you have to be able to get yourself in position.

the more impressive thing is 12 of those 31 rebounds were offensive.

Many yrs ago, a guy I played Svc. ball with couldn't get 4 inches off the ground, but he had an instinct for where the ball was going. Every game he out boarded guys 6" taller. Of course it sure helps to be able to "sky"! Sir Charles was not a great leaper, but instinct & bulk help, ala Wes Unseld.
