I think they are the best conference in college football every year by a decent margin but I'm just noticing how much respect some of the average teams get. Florida is ranked in the top 25 with a 6-3 record and hasn't beaten a ranked team all season long. They've struggled in almost all of their wins as well. A 3-point win over Georgia at home is their premier victory. Georgia is 5-7. There needs to be a line drawn on the bias... Give them a little bit for being in a tough conference but you shouldn't be automatically putting any SEC team with a winning record in the top 25.

i agree.....play shit non conference schedules and sail up in the rankings, then when conference play starts and they knock each other off, don't drop far in the polls....hard to argue the national title outcomes though

They are the best, but what the hell has Florida done to be a top 25 team? I'm not worried about Auburn or LSU being ranked up there. LSU is not as good as Auburn or Alabama IMO but they've put together some nice close wins. Rank the best teams high. Just don't put any SEC team with no premier wins up with the big boys just because they are in the SEC.

How can u say this when Boise plays no one every week and I got to hear that Hawaii and Nevada r big show downs? Boise would lose 3-5 games this year if they played in the SEC - no way they r rolling teams on the road in the SEC

Nobody thought we'd beat Oklahoma, TCU, or Virginia Tech away from the blue turf either.

Nice defense but the offense is average. They've gotten a ton of breaks going their way this year.

Every year you whine about the SEC and put Boise on a high horse but the fact of the matter is they would lose 2-3 games each year in the SEC conference. It is much easier to game plan for 1 big game a year than when you have a big game almost every week. I would NOT put Boise in the title game and yes, I layed the 34' this past weekend. Blowing out the Idahos of the world every week is BS.

Could u imagine Boise going Bama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Arkansas and Aubrun for 6 weeks in a row? They'd get above average at best - there is a huge difference between beating one team all year that flirts with the top 25 and going week to week in the SEC - any SEC team with one loss should go before Boise - of course a playoff would be best

Half of the teams in the top 25 would go undefeated year after year playing in the WAC ! Doesn't prove anything to me especially with a struggle with a bad OSU team and winning by a FG over a overrated ACC team.

I'm not the one that keeps starting these cry baby threads about not getting respect. We are #1 and not scared of anything. If we have to keep reading about the same things I will respond the same way again

When's the last time BS played 2 top 25 tms OTR, B2B?? How about never.

You realize only a few teams each season have to do this, right? Oregon's played a single team ranked in the top 25 all season long and it was a home game. Auburn has played only 4 road games this season (only one against a ranked team). TCU has played one top 25 game on the road all year. LSU had Florida and Auburn on the road but sandwiched powerhouse McNeese State in between those games.

When's the last time my dog did a backflip over a moving car? The question I posed holds just as much relevance as yours in the college football world.

Boise goes undefeated in the WAC. Boise has beat the best Pac-10 team in Oregon the last 2 years. Pac-10 would be playing for 2nd place.

The beginning of last year doesn't mean anything for this current year.
