does auburn stay #1 if newton gets suspended......

remember when bomar got kicked off the team for his car dealership antics, OU went from top 5 to just barely in the to 15......hard to displace oregon at this point as much as i don't like them....i give boise the nod over tcu based on LAST YEAR'S results.....remember folks, a new formula is being devised that accounts for returning players and previous season's performance, it's meant to counter the argument that BCS teams don't care about the bowl game.....plan is expected to be implemented by the start of 2013, media exposure by end of next season.....

1) Boise

2) Oregon

3) TCU

4) Wisconsin

5) Nebraska

You Pac-10 fans and your love of Stanford. I like Harbaugh as much as the next guy but it just took everything they have to get by a sub .500 team. Is that really top 5 worthy?

TCU & Boise St

There are 4 unbeaten teams left, only two can play for the national championship. If things remain the same, those two will come from the bigger and stronger conferences, justifiably so.

Although much has been made about who plays a stronger schedule, most of the talk centers around the best teams on respective schedules. What's equally important to note, is that the mid-level teams in the BCS conferences can beat the best teams in those conferences on any given day. BSU & TCU don't have to worry about that, they can literally have a lot of bad days and still win.

Posing a question...

If all these big conference teams can beat any team on any given day, how come they can't even touch TCU or Boise? I mean, it's on any given day...

stop, your sample is microscopic

do you actually believe BSU is going to simply go unbeaten year after year playing in the PAC or SEC or Big 10

is their coach the best in the history of football? is their system the best in the history of football? otherwise, can you explain why BSU doesn't have a bunch of stars playing in the NFL? Obviously, they simply don't have the same level of talent.

and I like BSU, but you guys are overboard now

if CBB didn't have a tournament, they'd be making the same arguments for Gonzaga today

if NCAAF had a tournament, BSU football would look a lot like Gonzaga hoops, a great program that can compete and overachieve and are fun to cheer for, but not the best in the country.

How does Washington St beat down OSU on the road while you struggle with them at home ? Same with James Madison at VT ! My top 5

1-Oregon
2-Auburn
3-Stanford
4-TCU
5-Oklahoma St
