When to up the bets?

Doing well this football season so far.. If it wasnt for the casino feature on my sportsbook I would be up over 9grand.. anyway that is besides the point...

I am not an experienced sports better, i basically just throw down money on parlays, teasers, i try to middle games with over/unders and teasing sides.. college FB and NFL, i do straight wagers too but for some reason i win more on the teasers...

anyway enough about me, this is a question for you all, when do you start pressing?

for example right now 1 unit is 15 dollars for me i usually bet 2-3 units per bet... when do i up the ante to 4-5 units per bet? or do i just roll the season betting the same units? just opinions please, thanks in advance.. I am a very good better i know sports well i just do not have any money management experience i am clueless when it comes to that.. Any good articles i can read for strategies?

For some reason sports betting is different than gambling in a casino.. I go to atlantic city very often to play blackjack, i play a lot and i play very large hands, but for some reason when i throw a 45 dollar bet down and lose it i go nuts, but if i lose 45 on blackjack in AC i laugh it off and go to the next hand.. its very different, i know when to press in blackjack, i have my strategy there.. but i do not know a strategy for sports betting.. would love to figure one out or read a book/article on some other peoples methods

if you're at 15/30 a bet, i'd up it to 20/40 if i was confident in what i'm doing.....continue to win, make it 25/50....so on and so forth.....i'm not a believer in doubling my unit size, simply because you'll give it back twice as fast as you made it if you experience some turbulence.....

With the size of your wagers I can't figure how you're up over 9k this football season. Did you win a couple huge parlays or something? :think2:

If you know you can hit 53% winners increase bet size right now

If you know you can't, never increase bet size

If you aren't sure, keep records until you do

well i said i WOULD be up 9grand.. i bet every game every night.. i just won a huge parlay on the over and eagles -3 tonight..... but guess what?

decided to stay up and watch the memphis game, threw 25 on it. boring game so i played in my casino .. i lost, then i played for an hour to get back to what i started with, finally got it back, it wasnt an even number, it was 2,898$ so i played blackjack in the casino for some reason, kept losing, kept pressing, not realizing this is REAL MONEY... lost every last penny.. i am actually sick to my stomach, all this hard work, i right now can not afford to reload my account.. i was planning on taking this $ out for christmas shopping and to buy a new TV for the bedroom for me and the fiance...plus her birthday is next week....

i am absolutely sick to my stomach, i had the money and for 2 dollars i played 150 dollars a hand in blackjack chasing what i lost... god i am absolutely in so much pain, i have gotten in fights, i played college football, im a grown man and i feel like hiding in a corner right now!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...

right now it feels like im in a different world dreaming... i never thought this would happen, i told myself i will NOT use the casino, especially to get an EVER NUMBER, what a moron!!! this is the 4th time this football season i lost over 1000 dollars in the casino feature

I think we have all been there. Look at it this way, It was there money you had won. Caulk it up as a lesson learned and move on.
