Lost my internet last night and now have it back. Main computer net works, but the laptop upstairs cannot find a wireless connection. I have unplugged everything a few times to no avail. The laptop is a Dell Precision M90and runs XP pro and the router is a Netgear wpn824. I use it the most because of the xp. I have my iphone charging off of it and it finds a wireless connection. I even did a system restore to yesterday and nothing.

What's my next step?

did your wirless button accidently get turned off on the laptop? it also could have been possibly disabled on accident. why lap top has a switch on the front, wirless on/off, look to see if yours has that also, if not, you can find your wirless card in the device manager and see if its been disabled

I would try plugging the laptop directly into your internet connection and restart then unhook once it has fully rebooted if that dont work I will be thinking I have the same prob with mine sometimes.
