I'm watching the Heat/Suns game, and Brent Barry goes on a rant about
how LeBron is the greatest athlete he has ever seen.

He made this comment: "I'm totally serious, LeBron could play in an NFL
game in two weeks and be a factor in the game"

Comments?

Even though I think LeBron is the best player in the game right now,
I think Barry is out of his mind thinking he could transition into an
NFL game in two weeks, and be a factor.

It's not disputed that he's the best athlete in the NBA - it's not disputed that he's the second best BASKETBALL player on the the heat

i think jon barry must have said it. i think a case can be made that lebron is the greatest physical talent the game has seen or atleast in the top 3 or 4 with wilt and a few others . the league really has never seen a guy his size with the speed he can play the game at.

Let me guess: Brent Barry works for a media company that has a contract to carry (and thus promote) the NBA. So, excuse me if his comments don't mean shit to me.

The "greatest athlete" is more than likely an NBA basketball player, so he could possibly be right..... Although I hate to admit it being Lebron

Barry is ridiculous. He tosses the word "athlete" out and then says Lebron is the "greatest". There are so many different sports requiring athletic ability, that's like comparing apples to oranges. I'm personally not convinced he is even the "greatest athlete" in his own sport. What defines "greatest athlete"? Who has Barry ever seen in his 30+ years of living. Just another meaningless statement with no foundation. Next!

Barry was on the same court the same time as Jordan and he couldn't even see him?
