just thought i'd let you good people know....

heading into final exam week soonerdawg is sporting a 4.0 GPA (that's straight A's for you lay people) with a cumulative of 13 hours....looking at 18 hours next semester.....

just goes to show, one can be a degenerate RXer and still make good grades~~:<<

Congratulations! Just started school this semester myself. Been hard as hell but have gotten all A's and B's. Took 18 credit hrs this semester, ALOT of work haha. Keep up the good work dawg

i must admit that i have it easier than a lot of other adults trying to finish their education, i get a housing allowance from the gi bill to pay the rent and whatnot, and the work study guy at the va takes care of me, and i don't have kids or a woman nagging my ass, so i have all the time i need to commit to it. part i'm most proud of is that 2 of the classes i failed when i was younger, i'm doing extremely well in right now (psychology and physical science, which is a combination of physics, chemistry, and geology) and i qualify for forgiveness, which means those 2 F's will disappear from my early transcripts....

still a long way to go, but it feels good

yes sir, journalism.....taking some digital photography and mass market writing next semester....there's also a broadcast internship at my local abc affiliate, but i don't think i'm in the right click to be a part of that....at least not yet.....could see myself following around jungle man with a camera for national geographic or something like that, newspaper writing is the last thing i want to do as newspapers are slowly dying, so i'm taking as many other type classes as i can that fit in with that, will get back into the film making class this summer when i have more time to commit to it

sooner or later i'm going to get around to writing a novel, but that's several years down the road

Atta boy. I'm majoring in Journalism right now...first year. I'm looking to get into Radio/TV as well....im doing political science as well as a minor.

Wow SD - I had no idea they gave out 4.0 in third grade. I thought the grading schedule was "needs improvement" or "proficient".
