Maybe I can get into the black and then just forget about this CFL season, betting wise. Tough to see my Leos lose, but the future looks bright for next year's Grey Cup host. Only one play, a 7 point teaser...

Montreal -3 & Baltimore -3 (-125) -- 3 units: Perhaps if I had a bit of a sack, I'd just give the points with Montreal, but I'll hopefully reduce the risk with this teaser. Montreal is the class of the East, don't let the last month fool you. They had nothing to play for. Their stars have been resting and waiting anxiously for several weeks, including the last week of the regular season when many rested. As if they needed another advantage, but they will be playing this game in the Big O, where teams have a hard time getting used to a dome and a different atmosphere than McGill University. I can't honestly remember if they have ever lost a playoff game at the Big O. Then there's the fact that Toronto looked terrible beating Hamilton, and relied on turnovers to win the game. I've said how much I like their ability to use trickery, having used it to surprise Montreal once this year. Well that was August in Toronto, this is playoff time in Montreal. I feel that even if the Argos pull out something nice, all it might do is give them a backdoor cover to the +10. I expect Montreal to be in complete control all day. As for the Ravens, it's more about betting against Carolina right now. Much has been spoken about the parity that exists in the NFL this year. That aint true in Carolina, where you have a shitty team that is probably considering hiring local drunks to fill out their roster. I honestly can't even name their starting QB without looking it up, as both Moore and Claussen are out. This fact also eliminates Steve Smith from being any type of factor. Their one big strength coming into the season was their depth at RB, but they are now down to 3rd string Mike Goodson. Their secondary has been decent, but they have zero offense and no chance to hold onto the ball and control the clock. The Ravens haven't exactly looked like world beaters over their past 4 games, but they need this game to stay on par with Pittsburgh, and I expect them to get it. They have too many weapons on both sides of the ball.
