TAMPA, Fla. -- Buccaneers rookie receiver Mike Williams was arrested and charged with driving under the influence early Friday morning, according to Hillsborough County Jail records.

Williams' blood alcohol level was below the state limit of .08, but a sheriff's department spokesman told the St. Petersburg Times that Williams was seen weaving in traffic. He also submitted to a urine test, which can be requested if the officer suspects a driver is under the influence of something other than alcohol, the spokesman said.

Williams' blood alcohol levels were .065 and .061 in two different tests. He was released on bond Friday morning.

"We are in the process of gathering all the facts," Buccaneers general manager Mark Dominik said in a statement released by the team. "Mike has been very cooperative."

A team official said Williams will travel with the team and is expected to start Sunday at San Francisco.

A fourth-round draft pick out of Syracuse, Williams quickly emerged as Tampa Bay's top wide receiver from the start of the season. He has 40 catches for 627 yards and five touchdowns.

Why can't these dumb ass millionaires pay someone to drive their car for them or drive them around in another car?

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for these guys to be drinking/smoking stuff, then driving!!!!!!!

I never ever ever ever understand why these athletes go out to party then drive their own vehicles home.

So freaking stupid. Dude better not get suspended and ruin my fantasy playoff run.:howdy:

.065. You gotta be shitting me. 2 beers could put you there. I bet he was texting and swerved. Bullshit that a cop would even try to bring him down for testing that low.

should get charges dropped....

A drivers blood alcohol level does not need to be .10 for a DUI infraction. .10 is automatically a DUI. If an officer subjectively thinks a driver is impaired by alcohol, the driver can still get a DUI.

. Young girl seriously injured in Anaheim crash

ANAHEIM – A young girl was taken to UCI Medical Center in serious condition after a car crash involving three vehicles near West Ball Road and South Knott Avenue on Saturday afternoon, officials said.
Witnesses told police that the driver of a 2010 black Ford Fusion, identified only as a man in his 20s, was travelling westbound on West Ball Road when he ran three red lights at Beach Boulevard, South Western Avenue and South Knott Avenue.

Officials said the driver collided with a Nissan Altima headed southbound on South Knott Avenue around 11:55 a.m. The driver of the Ford Fusion then crashed into a Toyota stopped in eastbound left-turn lane of West Ball Road.
A girl, believed to be about 3 years old, was riding in a car seat in the back of the Nissan Altima. Police said a passerby pulled the girl out of the vehicle and performed CPR until paramedics arrived to take her to the hospital.
Injuries to the two adult passengers in the Nissan Altima were unknown, police said. The two adult passengers in the Toyota were taken to another area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Ford did not sustain any major injuries and was not taken to the hospital. Police released the driver after an initial interview. Officials do not suspect that alcohol or drugs were involved. No charges have been filed.
"He was agitated at the traffic," Anaheim Police Sgt. Rick Martinez said.
Police shut down the southbound lanes of South Knott Avenue from West Savanna Street to West Ball Road and the westbound lanes of West Ball Road from South Knott Avenue to Yosemite Drive. The lane closures are expected to continue until about 4:30 p.m.
