CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Whatever magic Oregon State seems to have over USC at Reser Stadium, it was present for the Beavers even before Saturday night's game.
"I said the words, 'It's a Beaver evening right now,'" said center Alex Linnenkhol. "I could feel it."
Oregon State beat Southern California 36-7 -- its third straight victory over the Trojans (No. 20 AP) in Corvallis.

Seems like a decent PAC 10 team went in there and got whooped... of couse OSU was shit because because Boise beat them (while they were ranked)/// OSU may be decent too, hope to find out how good they are when THE DUCKS come into town...

All in all, yesterday's games went very well for Boise State. Not only their convincing victory but both Oregon State's drubbing of USC and V. Tech's nice victory over Miami on the road will do nothing but help their standings. I think TCU chances just went down. Stanford and Wisky both looked very good also as Boise's only worry has to be one of the 1 loss teams jumping them. It will be close but if you asked me right now... I really don't see it happening. I saw the line at the Las Vegas Hilton yesterday and they had Boi9se State - 14. Nevada hasn't played a top 25 team all year so I'm not sure why they are rated in the top 20. I think they are like Utah .....a team with a great record but easy schedule who will get exposed by Boise State as the average team they really are. Boise should roll next week JMHO !
