In years gone bye, if you were a contrarian bettor, you could always count on SIA, Bodog, and when they accepted USA customers, Canbet. to almost always have the number you were looking for and were great outs.
I always recommended the above for any serious sports bettor. But things seemed to have changed. Even though I still use Bodog and SIA, I just don't find the lines I'm looking for, and if I do, there's plenty of juice attached to the line. They both used to move their lines on what the public was betting, and you could get a fix on who they were playing just looking at their lines. And if you're looking for a "Nevada rotation" at either one of them, FORGEDABOUDIT!!! They seem to have their "own" rotation based on when the games start, rather than following the "normal" rotation. I guess it's OK for those looking for what games are going off soon, but if you're looking for a certain # like 321, you might find it five games above 318.
One thing is nice that Bodog does, and that is to have the current scores of games that have already started. Sometimes they are even faster with scores than CBS Sportsline or even ESPN and Yahoo.
Guess we'll just have to learn to live with it, but it sure was a lot easier to bet there in the "old" days!!
