You can edit any post you make for up to five minutes. If you want to delete a thread starting post or a post within a thread you can't but you can edit it to a single character by clicking on edit within five minutes of posting and highlight the entire post then right click on the highlighted text and click on delete from your mouse right click menu. When you exit you have to leave a single character of your own choice in the now blank post box..
