I think this is a likely scenario following the beating Alabama is going to put on Auburn.

I think the ratings for a game like Oregon vs BSU would be absolutely horrendous. It could be a great game to watch with one team scoring 70 and the other in the mid 50's. 30 points per quarter and the scoreboard operator would be dizzy. Lots and lots of time for those commercials too. God knows we have to stop these big games every five seconds for a freakin commercial.

Boise struggles to score above 40 against some defenses. Boise has been great against the Oregon offense the last 2 years. The game might be lower scoring than some think.

Jake this is going to be a great game. I hope BSU kicks the living crap out of the ducks. As a UW Husky fan, nothing would please me more. The Oregon coach is a total ass. Real cocky. Hopefully they will be found to have cheated somewhere along the line like USC and that will set their program back 10 years.

the fact that the damn bowl games are so staggered, ratings would be GREATLY helped by bringing everything back like the old days, ALL the big bowl games played on new year's....or at least within a day or 2.....

and here we go with the ratings again.....i could care less....fuck the damn yankees

I would definitely look at taking some BSU for the max. Oregon could struggle against that stout D they got up there at BSU. Those boys eat raw meat and taters and aren't easily pushed around.

I guess with your program being reduced to an also ran all you have left is hate. Thats cool ! Being a big Duck fan, all I can say is, your school is not good enough to hate anymore ! We have bigger fish to fry. As far as the coaches are concerned, probably jealousy is the best way to describe your feelings, and maybe some envy, especially with dealing with the coaches you have had since the good old days !

Not sure why you would think the ratings would be bad for this game, I'm thinking that most college football fans would eat this game up ! Lots of good story lines here. We could go back to having overrated teams such as Ohio St and Oklahoma laying down time after time . Your choice ?

You sure do know how to hurt a guy! Can we bring back Don James? Yes, I hate the Oregon Ducks. I hope they get crushed in the National Championship Game.

We bark for Sark and he'll have us winning 6 games consistently starting next year. I just want a bowl game. Any bowl game would do.

Most college football fans could care less about the Oregon Ducks out on the West Coast. Pay attention man!

Haha, for all my Oregon hate, I'd still give them some credit. Thinking 27-24 or so in Boise's favor. Maybe 31-24 or 31-20. Oregon's run game will be somewhat effective and will keep Boise's offense off the field. Broncos are good enough to stop big runs but might have to give up 3 or 4 yard gainers most of the time. Hopefully it's the game...

You need to pay attention, you can hate all you want, but GameDay is out here 2 times a year , we have ESPN commercials, ESPN talk shows are filled with Duck talk, Kelly is on alot of interviews, etc. alot of talk about flashy offense and uniforms, we might be the most popular team in college football right now ! Don James was a great coach and actually rooted for some of those teams when playing Miami and Oklahoma back then. You had respect and the backing of the rest of the conference when you were competing for National Championships. Now its our turn, to bad we can't get the same respect back from Husky guy, but we'll carry the torch without you, we are doing fine !

The bigger they are, the harder they fall.

Hopefully you have your doctor writing you some prescriptions for anti depressants.

Enjoy the ride because it doesn't last nearly long enough.

I can't find one Husky fan that I know that would ever root for a Duck. It's immoral.

Its all about Conference pride ! When the Conference season ends its all about Conference respect. I'm sure your like me in wanting to beat USC year in and year out. But when its all over I root for USC to clobber the Big 10 in Rose Bowl or Orange Bowl. Or clobber Oklahoma in the BCS Championship game. I don't like the Huskies either, but when season ends I'm pulling for you if and when you get to a bowl game.

Here we go again, talking about 2009 and 2008

WOW, if this forum is any indication, BSU fans are damn naive.
