UCLA is overrated for chicks:
I had this discussion many times with a couple of friends who played DII hoops:
We broke it down like this:
Ohio State - because we all grew up Bucks fans and the kids seem to love Thad.
Michigan State - because pound for pound, there is no better coach than Izzo.
Kentucky - John Cal is another one that players seem to love, plus you will make more money at UK than at any other program your Fr year.
UNC - Roy Williams is a good coach who plays up tempo. Gives kids a home game if near where they are from, if they are not close to Chapel Hill. Father Figure type
Duke - Coach K and the program will provide you name recognition and ample life opportunities
Uconn - Nobody produces better pros than Jim C.
UCLA- Most overrated program, but something about being in the spotlight.
Texas - Great fan base, likeable coach in Barnes and great place to go to school.
UF -See Texas. Billy is also very humble.
