I still can't believe the perfect season is over because our kicker can't hit an extra point from the middle of the field (twice). Brotzman has struggled with jitters when kicking from one of the two hashes before (can't remember which) but seemed to shake that issue the whole year. How the heck does he miss those? I'd rather get blown out by 40.
The BSU defense was pitiful the entire 2nd half, just pitiful.
True, a missed chip shot cost BSU the game, but I would have to believe that the majority of BSU fans are equally as upset with their defensive performance as they are with the plight of their kicker, or at least they should be.
give Nevada some credit guys. they are a damn good football team. and Fishhead I agree Boise defense got pushed around second half but Ault game planed that perfectly. first half all he did was have Kaepernick pass to loosen them up (even before they fell down a few scores) to set up the rushing attack in the 2nd half. it was played perfectly, Kaepernick only had like 3 rushing attempts going into the half...that is unheard of for them. played it beautifully. gashed them right up the middle all 2nd half.
What a difference a few hours makes. With Bama blowing out Auburn in the first half, everyone including me was thinking the Title game would be Boise State and Oregon. Sorry for you guy as this must be a hard one to take. Have a stiff drink, get a good night's sleep and awake tomorrow to a better day. My Mother passed away 11 days ago so that's what really makes it a bad day. It's just a silly football game.
