I posted this elsewhere, but was concerned it wouldn't be read for several days: I'm getting the round around from a book on the Top Sportsbook on this site. Should I PM somebody in particular?

I have not seen anything yet - the best way to reach me right now is at my personal email address person19481950@yahoo.com - Include a brief description of what is happening, your account number at the book in question and the actual real name attached to it (your password at the book is not necessary) and just so I know it is you please include your Rx.com poster name.

I will look into the matter immediately, and get back to you as soon as have even a little informtion.

Thank you, wilheim

I am pleased to report that I got my payout, and as far as I can see, would not have done so if the Rx had not intervened. The book in question was shuckin' and jivin' to the very end, but grudgingly paid.

I would like to add to that....Was having major problems at a sponsored book ..account was closed and no word of getting paid (7K ) ..so I sent Willheim an email with all the facts/info..and was promptly paid in full. (account remained permanently closed).

Not sure if If I would have got paid if THERX had not intervened....Thanks again Will

Fot The Record..

I really appreciate the kind words. However my job is to help Rxers whenever I can and is something I take very serious. Thank you's are appreciated but not necessary. Your loyalty to the site is my reward..

Some posters think I say email me at person19481950@yahoo.com before you go to the forum with your complaint is solely to protect the book in question but the real truth is books are easier to work with if they are not bad mouthed before they are given a chance to make good for some mistake or error involving a player.

I have never asked a poster to not post about a matter after it has been resolved and we also allow posters to make a post about incidents with our sponsors as long as they are civil in the way they write about the incident and of course be truthful.

In almost 6 years as head moderator I have helped a lot of posters, not always resulting with the player being satisfied but in a high percentage of cases they are.

These days most of the disputes are not about getting stone cold stiffed which was not the case back in 2003 when I was hired as a mod but now mainly delays in withdrawals, rules interpretation, player identity issues and other similar problems between player and book. These kind of problems happen at all kind of books from time to time, often to good honest player friendly books.

Anyway, The entire Rx Mod team is here to help you. All we ask is a chance to resolve a matter before unfair damage is done to a solid books reputation because for example, a new CSD clerk, just in training, makes a mistake and causes a delay in a withdrawal or other similar matter that causes a player to be inconvenienced. In most of these cases the right thing is done by the book without our intervention but when called upon we do our best to make right any wrongs that occurred as quickly as possible.

My #1 rule is any help we give to posters is 100% free with no strings attached. When contacted that is something I say in my return email right up front.

Thanks to all of you for your contributions to the site, your patronage with our sponsors is what keeps us in business and we are here to make sure you are treated fairly and with courtesy in return..

Never hesitate to email me (much better than PMs when dealing with disputes) and I will do my best as will the other Mods to resolve any problem between you and any of our sponsors..

All we ask is a chance to help resolve your problems that occur with our sponsors. Most of our sponsors are huge and have a great many players so all of us being human makes it certain there will be some mistakes made by both book and player alike. Even the best restaurants will sometime overcook a steak but that usually is a very rare occurrence, the same goes for both player and book.

I want to take this opportunity in behalf of all of the entire Rx.com staff from our General Manager MartyJ to our newest moderator or Tech Support hire to thank all of our posters and their families including the ones that just lurk to have a safe (most important) and happy Holiday Season.

All the best to each of you, wil...
