Today, I played a 3 team SP 8 point teaser. Utah State + 17 (push), LaSalle + 11.5 (W) and No. Carolina + 8 (W). The play was graded as a loss.
I spoke with "Laura" and she informed me that Special Teasers: Tie + Win = push only applied for football teasers and that any push on a basketball special teaser constitutes a loss. I asked to speak to a manager and was asked to give "Ron" a call.
Ron acknowledged that the information on the website is incorrect and they are unable to update their website. For this time only, he will refund me my original wager, but going forward, I have been notified that any special teasers played in basketball with a push will be considered a loss.
Don't get me wrong, I know teasers are sucker plays, but one would have to think they should be able to update *their* own website. In the end, Ron did make it right and I will continue to play with BetMania, but just want to give everyone a heads up.
