Seriously, Connecticut making it to a BCS bowl game showcases everything that is wrong with the system. I am sorry but a team with 4 losses should NEVER get a BCS bowl invitation when you have clearly superior teams being left out.
Connecticut would be a deserving underdog to everyone in the top 25 & would be lucky to stay within 21 of any one in the top 15. I am not just saying this because Boise won't make it to the BCS either. There will be some notable teams left out, take Michigan State for example who won't get a bid yet a 4 loss team from hands down the worst AQ conference gets one.
Even if you hate the idea of a playoff system, this farce alone should be reason enough for anyone to want this sham to end.
No disrespect to Connecticut fans & their team which played by the rules & earned the birth technically, but it is still not right.
