Got a pizza delivered to my work for lunch. A couple a times from the same place the food arrived and smelled like an ashtray.

People have the right to smoke in their own car, but WTF. The pizza box and pizza has a aroma of smoke even the water bottle has a smoke smell.

I don't want to nit pick, and im sure some smokers here will jump my ass. But it is disgusting.

Gotta agree. A complaint would give you more than a smoke smell on your next pie.

IMO nothing worse than the smell of cigarette smoke mixed in with your meal. Ugh! I can't imagine the driver hasn't received prior complaints. Like steak says it's time to find another pizza joint that delivers. On a similar note, I work in a library. I hate it when I get a book that has been returned by a smoker. A good read ruined by the smell of cigarettes. I don't believe in banning smoking (I used to myself), but I think smokers often don't realize how pervasive the smell can be.

Call the store and complain to the Manager and ask for a free pizza for your inconvenience. You pay for a pizza that is delivered in a timely manner without cigarette smoke smell on it. They didn't deliver that so you should get it for free.

I've delivered pizza during my college years and the rule was always to not smoke in a car with a pizza on the way. That is just common courtesy...

I second this or tell them you will go give them negative press about it and warn others about there practices.That should get their attention !

First of all Im a smoker......I go out of my way to make sure my habit dosent infringe on anyone else.....A smokers habit should only be endured by the person who has the habit......Delivering food and smoking in the same car with it is unacceptable//////////I would complain

I would ask for the money back and never do business with them again. If the pizza is really that great I would only do carry-out orders to avoid any "situations".
