As it turns out, Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel missed practice on Wednesday for a good reason.

He had surgery.

Per a league source, Cassel had an appendectomy.

His status for Sunday currently isn’t known. The other quarterbacks on the roster are Brodie Croyle and, as of today, Tyler Palko.

Who cares about Cassel, our own Quantum Leap had a COLONOSCOPY, He was heard saying "COOL! Let's do it again." I'm more worried about him.:think2:

I've heard people who just had their stomach hurting ask "How do you know if it's your appendix?"

Apparently he had the operation in Santa Monica, CA. I heard the doctor interviewed by the NFL channel on Sirius radio, and he said it's was only a laproscopic surgery that requires only 3 small incisions. He felt he could play if he wanted to and said he didn't put any restrictions on his patients. 15 minutes later they announced he would be out for two weeks.
