Sunday's Bears-Patriots game at Soldier Field is expected to feature high winds and sub-freezing temperatures.

Temperatures are forecast in the low 20s for Sunday morning, dropping into the teens later in the day. Winds are expected to in the 30-35 mph range. High winds are the one weather factor that concerns us when it comes to lineup decisions. It would be hard to bench a white-hot Tom Brady, but we'd suggest checking back Sunday morning for a report on the elements.

Neither team has much of a running game. Pats won't be able to run at all against the Bears. Chicago will have more success. I thought this game was going to be an upset anyway, but I like the Bears even more so if the wind disrupts throws.

What was the wind like in that game though? Throwing in the snow doesn't change the trajectory of passes like a huge wind gust...

If the winds really are 30-35mph I'm looking forward to seeing the kicks in this game. I've seen Robbie Gould do it too. I'm trying to remember the game, there were a couple, but one in particular with downright hilarious wind and I think he boomeranged a couple through. I don't think Shayne Graham has ever played at Soldier Field. And FWIW Tom Brady never has. But also, has BJGE ever played in snow?

Gonna be an interesting and possibly wacky game.

While the weather forecast has caused the line to drop from an opener of 45 to a current 39/39.5, conditions like this can cause inconsisent offense with turnovers, short kicks and short field possessions. Although it may appear that Under is the play, anything is possible IMHO.

He played his first two seasons of college ball at Indiana so I am pretty sure he got some snow experience.
