is it wrong to order pizza when there is a foot of snow outside?

i want to get a pizza tonight but the winds are gusting at 25 mph and there is a foot of snow on the ground.

i called a friend and asked if i should and he said its disrespectful since itd be tough for them in these conditions.

i said why should they be disrespected. im giving them business. im helping them out by ordering, regardless of the weather.

the driveway is shoveled out on one side right now so they can get up, but im sure itll be covered again by the time i order.

if you willing to give the guy a good tip and they are open for delivery's than yes. The driver is not earning much just sitting around if he has to be there

I always think about the same thing when I order during one of CR's regular torrential downpours. But if they didnt want to deliver in the rain they'd be out of work six months a year so I'd say its probably good to keep em busy.

I remember a couple years back we had a Bad Storm, about 20" of Snow
called one of the many Local Pizza joints..... for a Delivery

They told me we can't Delivery because the Drivers car can't get up the Hill

I said, What Hill ??? it's not really a Hil..... I was like, Hey $20 Tip

He Got up the Fucking Hill !!

If they pick up the phone, its on them. Ain't no one carrying out when there's a foot of snow, so they know what they're getting into. Just need to throw the driver a few extra bucks.

It's not wrong. Just don't get pissed if it's F'D up. Almost every time I order with heavy snow out, the driver calls me and makes come outside to get it usually.

I know some of the local McDonald's are open 24 New Year's eve and new year's day. Hard to imagine they'd close due to snow.

no, im in minnesota where they had 9th biggest snowfall ever for a day and i saw pizza delivery truck yesterday at neighbors..

not wrong at all. other wise the driver would just be sitting around, making boxes at the pizza place. just make sure you tip really well.

I am glad to see there are so many considerate people out there that even think of others. Many would say, F it and have the guy deliver a pizza.
